Terms of Service

Please read these Terms before using CrossModel. By visiting the website, creating an account, adding balance, or calling the API, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: May 21, 2026

1. Service Overview

CrossModel is a multi-model API gateway for developers. It provides a model catalog, API key management, usage analytics, prepaid balance management, OpenAI-compatible APIs, Anthropic-compatible APIs, documentation, and console features.

CrossModel may integrate with multiple third-party model providers, payment processors, identity services, email services, risk-control systems, analytics tools, and cloud infrastructure providers. Model availability, capabilities, pricing, context windows, content-safety policies, and data-handling practices may be determined by those providers and may change over time.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

  • You must have the legal capacity required to enter into and perform these Terms. Minors may use the service only with consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current registration information and keep your account information up to date.
  • You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, API keys, sessions, and devices. Requests made through your account or API keys are treated as authorized by you and are your responsibility.
  • If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization and that you will ensure its users comply with these Terms.

3. Fees, Balance, and Settlement

CrossModel primarily uses prepaid, usage-based billing. Actual charges are calculated based on factors such as the model used, input and output tokens, cache hits, tool calls, images, and other model capabilities, and are reflected in the billing, balance, and usage records shown in the console.

Model prices, exchange rates, payment-channel fees, promotional offers, and billing rules may change. If you continue using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated fee rules.

  • Account balance is not a bank deposit, electronic money, or transferable asset. It may be used only to pay for services supported by CrossModel.
  • We may place a temporary hold before a request starts and then settle the request, release the unused amount, or adjust the balance after the request completes, fails, or times out.
  • Status updates may be delayed because of payment processors, banks, network conditions, risk reviews, or upstream model-provider billing delays.
  • Refunds, invoices, and billing disputes must be submitted through the support channels published by CrossModel and are subject to payment-channel rules, incurred usage, and applicable law.

4. Third-Party Models and Provider Terms

CrossModel provides unified access and routing across multiple model services. CrossModel does not own or control all models. When you use a particular model, you must also comply with that provider's terms of service, acceptable use policies, regional restrictions, content-safety requirements, and data-processing rules.

Some models may restrict particular regions, industries, use cases, customer types, or high-risk scenarios. You are responsible for confirming that the model you choose is appropriate for your use case and for any product or service you provide to your end users.

5. User Content and Output

Prompts, files, images, context, metadata, tool-call parameters, and other inputs you submit through the service, together with text, code, image descriptions, structured data, and other outputs returned by models, are collectively referred to as "User Content."

You retain your rights in the input content you lawfully own. To the extent necessary to provide, maintain, bill for, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service, you grant CrossModel a non-exclusive license to process, transmit, cache, store, copy, and display User Content.

Model output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, especially in high-impact areas such as healthcare, law, finance, safety, employment, education, credit, insurance, and law enforcement. You should not rely solely on model output to make those decisions.

6. Acceptable Use Restrictions

  • You may not violate laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, third-party rights, or model-provider terms.
  • You may not generate, distribute, or assist with fraud, malware, unauthorized intrusion, phishing, spam, hateful or harassing content, sexual exploitation, violent harm, or other illegal or harmful content.
  • You may not bypass regional restrictions, model restrictions, rate limits, risk-control measures, content-safety systems, payment restrictions, or access controls.
  • You may not register accounts in bulk, share or resell accounts or API keys, impersonate others, conceal the true source of requests, or create abnormal usage patterns.
  • You may not scrape, copy, reverse engineer, interfere with, load test, or attack the service unless you have prior written permission from CrossModel.
  • You may not use the service for high-risk decisions that require specialized qualifications or human review unless you satisfy applicable legal requirements and implement sufficient human oversight.

7. Suspension, Termination, and Service Changes

If we believe your use creates a security risk, violates the law, breaches these Terms or third-party provider requirements, or may harm CrossModel, other users, model providers, or the public, we may limit, suspend, or terminate your account, API keys, model access, or specific features.

We may add, remove, replace, or modify models, APIs, pricing, quotas, documentation, and product features. We will try to reduce disruption to normal use, but we do not promise that any model or feature will remain available permanently.

8. Intellectual Property

The CrossModel website, console, documentation, code, marks, interface design, data structures, and related content are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from them without permission.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or questions to us, you agree that we may use them to improve our products and services without paying you.

9. Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Because the service depends on the internet, cloud infrastructure, payment channels, third-party models, regulatory policies, and events beyond our reasonable control, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, fully secure, or always meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrossModel is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, business interruption, data loss, the cost of substitute services, third-party model behavior, or consequences caused by model output.

10. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms for product, legal, or operational reasons. For material changes, we will provide notice through the website, console, email, or another reasonable channel. If you continue using the service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Contact Us

If you have questions about these Terms, billing, accounts, security, or compliance, please contact us through the channels published on the CrossModel website or console.
